The spring weather is here. This week the forecast is calling for winds from 3 to 20+ mph. Monday and Tuesday are calling for a easterly wind. Late day Tuesday and Wednesday are calling for a north wind, in the single digit to low teen mph range. Thursday through Sunday are calling for a strong east wind in the mid teen to 20+ range. The forecast is calling for mainly sunshine. The temperature is set to start in the mid 70’s, and rise to the upper 70’s as the week progresses.
Offshore there have been a great variety of fish being caught. Snapper and grouper have been the normal culprits on the bottom. There have been a mix of Wahoo, with some Kings, Barracudas, Bonita, Mahi’s, and some Blackfin Tuna have arrived. Sailfish have also been on the prowl.
